Q- Where do I record my MOVband information?
A-Watch this video to help you with this process,You will record this in your wellness plan for each module and sync your band daily to the dashboard. The Wellness Dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of your personal fitness goals and performance. It can be accessed through any of the lessons and it is located on the navigation bar and it is titledDashboard. It will enable you to organize and share all of your entries with your instructor when it is time to submit them.

Q- Can I swim with my MOVband
A-No, the MOVband is not waterproof. If you are swimming or involved in a sport that you cannot wear your band simply use the formula below to figure out your moves.
Q- I am ready to start but don’t have my MOVband?
A- Go ahead! You can use the formula above until you receive your MOVband.
Q- Do I need a group code?
A-No
Q- How often do I sync my band?
A- We suggest daily after your activity.
Q- I lost a piece of my MOVband?
A-Contact MOVband for a replacement.
Q- Does the MOVband data from the Dashboard automatically transfer into the student's Wellness Plan or do the record it manually?
A-They will need to place it in the wellness plan manually. Here is a link to a tutorial.
Q- My new MOVband looks like it has prior activity on the device, what do I do?
A-The MOVband utilizes a 3-D accelerometer which is constantly tracking movement. Because of this, the MOVband will capture move data during the shipping process. This past activity will not interfere with your future movements or jeopardize the integrity of any fitness challenges in which you may be participating. If you do not wish to see this information in your activity dashboard, you may use the "Customize Your View" drop-down menu to select a custom date range. This will only show you activity for the specific time period you select. Though the data can't be removed from your dashboard, it can be removed from the device itself. To remove the device's data, press and hold both buttons until the data clears from the LCD display.
Q-"My moves don't directly correlate to my mileage. For example, one day 10,000 moves might equate to 4.1 miles, and the next day, 4.9. Why?“
A-MOVband’s algorithm takes the pace and intensity of your movement into account and calculates distance accordingly. So in the example above, the day with greater mileage had time periods with a faster pace and intensity.
MOVband tracks all movement – side to side, up and down, and back and forth – using a 3D accelerometer. MOVband can detect any type of movement as long as it’s on a moving body part. For example, on a bike, you’ll want to attach the device to your shoe or leg to capture the movement.
Using a proprietary algorithm, your movement, stride length (taken from your age during setup) and intensity are taken into account to calculate distance.
Q- Part of my MOVband has fallen off and I have lost it, help?
A-Please contact your teacher for a special code to enter when ordering a replacement part.
