DIRECTIONS TO ALL GYMS FOR 2017 VIPERS SPRING BREAK OUT AAU TOURNAMENT

Bellows Falls High School

406 High School Road

Westminster, VT

From Exit 5 on I-91: Travel East to US Route 5 North. North on US Route 5 for 2.8 miles, High School Road is on the left.

From Vermont Academy: Travel East on Route 121 to US Route 5. Turn Right, SOUTH on Route 5 for 1.0 miles, High School Road is on your right.

From Landmark College or Putney School: Go to I-91 NORTH to Exit 5. (10 minutes). Follow directions for Exit 5.

From Hinsdale High School: Return to Brattleboro, VT and go NORTH on US Route 5 to roundabout. Travel on I-91 NORTH to Exit 5 (about 15 minutes). Follow directions from Exit 5 above.

Hinsdale High School

School Street

Hinsdale, NH

Northbound on I-91 from Mass. take Exit 1, turn RIGHT onto Canal Street (which will become Main Street). Travel 1.0 miles turning RIGHT at traffic light on to Route 119. Cross railroad tracks and bridge. Follow Rte 119 for 6 miles. Turn RIGHT on to School Street. Gym is ahead on LEFT.

Southbound on I-91 from Putney, take Exit 3, turn RIGHT at roundabout onto Route 5 South (Putney Road). Follow Route 5 South for approximately 2.5 miles. (It will briefly become one way at the Green). Bear LEFT staying on Rte 5 and Main Street. At 4th traffic light turn LEFT onto Route 119 East. Cross railroad tracks and bridge. Follow Rte 119 for 6 miles. Turn RIGHT onto School Street. Gym is ahead on LEFT.

From Keene, NH: From the intersection of Routes 9 and 10, take Route 9 West, Franklin Pierce Highway, 9 miles. Turn RIGHT onto Route 63 South. Travel 8.3 miles, turn RIGHT onto Canal Street. Stay on Canal ST which becomes Main Street, and then becomes Brattleboro Road. Travel 1.3 miles, turn LEFT onto School Street. Gym is ahead on the left.

From Bennington, VT: From the center of Bennington travel approximately 39 miles Eastbound on Route 9. Turn RIGHT onto Main Street, Brattleboro. At 3rd traffic light turn LEFT onto Route 119 East. Cross railroad tracks and bridge. Follow Rte 119 for 6 miles. Turn RIGHT onto School Street. Gym is ahead on LEFT.

From Exit 4 on I-91, go North on Route 5 for 0.9 miles. Turn RIGHT on to River Road. Make second LEFT on to Robert Rhodes Lane. Landmark College gym is on left, parking area is to the right. Landmark gym is approximately 1.2 miles and 4 minutes travel time from Exit 4.

From Keene, NH: Take Route 9, Franklin Pierce Highway, to Brattleboro. After crossing Connecticut River continue straight through roundabout onto I-91 North (Exit 3). After exiting at Exit 4 follow above directions to gym.

From Bennington, VT: From the center of Bennington travel approximately 37 miles Eastbound on Route 9. Turn LEFT onto I-91 North. After exiting at Exit 4 follow above directions.

From North or South on I-91 take Exit 4. Follow above directions.

The Putney School

418 Houghton Brook Road

Putney, VT

The Putney School is a private school on Houghton Brook Road, not to be confused with Putney Central School. Putney School Gym is approximately 3.0 miles and 10 minutes travel time from Exit 4 (I-91).

From Exit 4 on I-91: Travel North on Route 5 for 0.5 miles to village center. Turn LEFT at Putney General Store on to Kimball Hill Road (which will become Westminster Road). Travel for 1.3 miles. Turn LEFT on to West Hill Road. Travel 1.2 miles and turn LEFT on to Houghton Brook Road. Make first LEFT at top of the hill into Putney School. Gym is to the left of the parking area.

From Keene, NH: Take Route 9, Franklin Pierce Highway, to Brattleboro. After crossing Connecticut River continue straight through roundabout onto I-91 North (Exit 3). After exiting at Exit 4 follow above directions to gym.

From Putney School: Take West Hill Road to Westminster West Road, LEFT on Westminster W. Road. Travel 12 miles to town of Saxton’s River and stop sign, turn RIGHT onto Main Street. Go past general store on left and turn LEFT onto Pleasant Street. Go to second street and turn LEFT onto Shepard Street. Gym and parking are on the left.

From Landmark College: South on Route 5 to village center, turn RIGHT onto Kimball Hill Road, which becomes Westminster West Road. Travel 12.5 miles to town of Saxton’s River and stop sign, turn RIGHT onto Main Street. Go past general store on left and turn LEFT onto Pleasant Street. Go to second street and turn LEFT onto Shepard Street. Gym and parking is on the left.

Southbound on I-91 from White River Jct. take Exit 6 Rockingham, turn onto Route 103 North. Go approximately 1 mile turn LEFT onto Meeting House Road. Go 0.4 miles and turn LEFT onto Rockingham Hill Road. Go 3 miles and turn RIGHT onto Shepard Lane. Gym and parking are on the left.

Northbound on I-91 from Brattleboro, VT. Take Exit 5 Bellows Falls. Turn LEFT, go 0.3 miles and turn RIGHT at the stop onto Back Westminster Road. Go 3 miles and turn LEFT onto Rte 121 West. Go 2.3 miles and turn RIGHT onto Pleasant Street. Go to second street and turn LEFT onto Shepard Street. Gym and parking is on the left.

Please allow approximately 25 minutes travel time from both Landmark College and Putney School to Hinsdale High School. Although it’s not far in actual miles, you do have to travel through downtown Brattleboro to access the bridge to New Hampshire. Travel time from Landmark or Putney to either Bellows Falls or Vermont Academy is about 20 minutes.
