SUN-TEK SKYLIGHTS RETURN POLICY

The following are reasons you may have for a skylight to be returned and guidelines to assist you in handling requests:

1) PACKAGING IS DAMAGED - If box is not suitable to be stocked in inventory, call Customer Service to order replacement box to be sent on next stock order.

2) CONCEALED DAMAGE:

a. Box Burn - On Dura Series Polycarbonate Dome Skylights - scratches on outer dome or in between domes due to improper shipping or storage. Dura Series skylights should be stacked on edge. File a freight claim with the delivering carrier for concealed damage.

b. Bent Flange - On Dura Series or Classic Series Skylights with Aluminum Flanges - corner may be bent from improper handling. This can be repaired by you, or you can file a concealed damage claim.

3) SKYLIGHT ALREADY INSTALLED - Call Customer Service with the original purchase order number for a complaint checklist to be completed by the installer.

4) FAULT OR ERROR OF SUN-TEK - credit issued at net price of original order.

5) CUSTOMER ORDERED INCORRECTLY

a. If item is a “special order” skylight, it is non-returnable. It is most likely considered “special order” if it is not on the 48 hour quick ship list. Call Customer Service if you are unsure.

b. If item is not custom made, our standard policy is:

~REPLACEMENT ORDER FOR EQUAL DOLLAR AMOUNT

~25% RESTOCK CHARGE IF SKYLIGHTS HAVE TO BE REPACKAGED

~RETURN FREIGHT PAID BY CUSTOMER

If you need to return an item, contact Customer Service to begin the process. If RGA is approved, approval number will be faxed over to you so that you can reference it when shipping the item back to Sun-Tek.
