House Assemblies: House Assemblies will be held this week. Pupils and staff should go straight to the Assembly Hall on their allocated day where the class will be registered. All pupils should be seated together in their registration class.

Trip to Paris, February long weekend 2017(6 days). For a chance to take part in this fantastic trip, please see Mr Lestienne in B12 to collect a form ASAP. Priority will be given to those French/German/Spanish pupils who are sitting or sat N5, Higher, Advanced Higher, and any S3 pupils who are considering continuing with French/German/Spanish in S4. Others will be put on a waiting list and will go if there are still spaces left. Thank you

Talent Show This year’s Talent Show takes place on Wednesday 5th October at 7:00 with 15 acts taking part. Tickets are available from Mr Webster at morning interval and lunchtime. (AW)

International Week event: Tomorrow lunchtime in the library is The Big Fat Language Quiz – How much do you really know about languages?

Try it, have some fun and learn some more. All in the library from 1.05pm.

Final International Week event ‘EAVision’ Eurovision Song Contest is on Thursday. Come, watch and listen to an exciting programme of song, when we shall have 4 acts, 4 languages and 4 judges. This will be a fantastic finale to International Week and will feature songs from pupils in Serbian, Latin and Hindi. Outstanding performances are guaranteed, with some glitzy fun too. From 1.00pn, in the library on Thursday.

Live-N-Learn have been asked to work with all pupils in S4, S5 & S6 in order to help prepare pupils for, cope with and hopefully improve attainment in the forthcoming prelims and final exams. The sessions will each last two periods.

Arrangements are as follows:

Tuesday- S5 Gordon & Seafield pupils should report to the assembly hall at the start of period 1

S5 Innes & Randolph pupils should report to the assembly hall at the start of period 3

S5 Moray pupils and S4 College pupils should report to the assembly hall at the start of period 5

Wednesday- S4 Gordon and Seafield pupils should report to the staffroom (beside G47) at the start of period 1

S4 moray and Randolph pupils should report to the staffroom (beside G47) at the start of period 3

S4 Innes pupils should report to the staffroom (beside G47) at the start of period 5

Thursday- S6 Gordon & Innes pupils should report to the assembly hall at the start of period 1

S6 Randolph and Seafield pupils should report to the assembly hall at the start of period 3

S6 Moray pupils should report to the assembly hall at the start of period 5

In all cases, pupils will be registered in the hall/staffroom.

DofE – Can anyone who has already completed their Bronze DofE award and now wishes to sign up for silver please attend a short meeting in G47 on Tuesday at 1:10pm.

Interhouse Hockey will take place on Tuesday 4th October at 3.30 on the astro. Sign up is at the PE department.

School Orienteering All pupils who have signed up for the secondary schools orienteering please attend a short meeting Tuesday at 10.45 in the PE department.

S1-S3

S1/2 Drama club will be on again this Thursday lunchtime, starting at 1.10 sharp! This week weare working on audition pieces.The auditionswill beheld on Thursday7th. If you have any questions, please speak to Mrs MacDonald in B55.

S1/S2 Cookery Club

Cookery club will run on Thursday at 3.20pm to 4.20pm it costs £1.00 and pupils should bring a tub. All those who would like to attend must sign up before Thursday to secure a place.

S2 AND S3 CAMERA CLUB Hello Camera enthusiasts. Club is back on this Wednesday after school. This week we Will be continuing with our Aperture and white balance challenges, so hope to see you there Wednesday the 28th 3.20 – 4.20pm in B39. Newbies welcome to. Miss Tullis
