The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Long Island State Park Region will be hosting the 28th Annual New York State Beach Cleanup in cooperation with the American Littoral Society and sponsored by the Natural Heritage Trust. The International Coastal Cleanup is a global effort, under the international umbrella of the Ocean Conservancy, in which over 100 countries participate.
If you would like to be involved in helping to protect your seashore, become a VOLUNTEER by calling the park that you are interested in lending a hand to. Certificates will be provided for each participant.
