John 10:7-21

  1. Jesus is the Door of the Sheep (v. 7-10)
  2. I AM = ego eimi (ἐγώεἰμι)—the Covenant Name of God (Ex. 3:14)
  1. Jesus literally is the door of the sheep…the only entrance into and out of the sheep fold of God—John 14:6; cf. Acts 4:12; 1 Cor. 1:30; 3:11; 1 Tim. 2:5
  1. Life, and have it abundantly means both eternally & today
  2. “It’s not enough to believe in life after death…we better start believing in life before death!” (Paul David Tripp)
