RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Setting up Quality control laboratory
Ø Planning day-to-day activities of lab.
Ø Responsible for testing activities regarding embankment formation, GSB formation, location of Borrow Areas and its suitability.
Ø Testing of soil activities regarding embankment formation, subgrade formation viz: - FSI, Atterbergs Limits, Grain Sieve Analysis, CBR including required field tests.
Ø Responsible for Mix design of Concrete upto M40 grade & WMM as per MoST Requirements.
Ø Testing of Aggregates viz: - Shape Test, Specific Gravity, AIV, Ten Percent fines value of GSB Materials and their suitability for WMM, Filter Media Backfilling and Concrete activities.
Ø Coordinating with the consultants representative regarding the frequency testing for all the materials like Soil, Aggregate, Cement etc.
Ø Responsible for calibration of lab equipments, Concrete batching plant, WMM plant and Asphalt Plant like Lintec and Parker.
Ø Involving in the mix designs of Asphalt Mix Design like BM, DBM, BC.
Ø Proper documentation of test reports.
Ø Involved in distress area testing like Plate load test, DCP & Benkelman beam test
