Identify movement disorders like Parkinsons Disease, Amylytrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis and the role of Myelin. / L-Dopa is the synthetic form of the brain chemical Dopamine. The film “Awakenings” is the true story of Dr. Oliver Saks who treated Post-Encephalatic Syndrome patients who were catatonic with L-Dopa in the Bronx in 1968.
