We have a strong Awana program with great community outreach. We have strong support for missionary work. Our church also has two other staff members, one that runs the church office and one that does janitorial work. Our church, like our community, is an equal mixture of stable membership and changing members who move into and out of the community.

We need to expand our young adult ministries, rebuild our high school youth program, continue to grow in our spiritual lives and become better servants of Christ, and prepare for pastoral change when our current pastor retires.

Brandon Valley Baptist Church seeks applications for someone to become our Pastor. If hired, the applicant would be a strong leader in three important areas:

  • Shepherding: care ministry and help in the expansion of young adult ministry
  • Teaching/preaching: preparing and preaching each Sunday as well as other teaching opportunities
  • Community: the applicant would be expected to be actively involved in the community beyond just church functions, to serve visibly as a representative of our church in the wider community, and develop connections with other congregations in the community (e.g. ministerial association, outreach, etc.)
