Sealed Bids for Salt/Sand Storage Facility will be received at the office of Brownstown Township until 2:00 pm local time, on October 23, 2008, by the office of the Clerk located at 21313 Telegraph Road, Brownstown, MI 48183. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows:
The Work consists of the construction of a single story bulk storage building measuring approximately 2,300 square feet in area. The building will be constructed of cast-in-place concrete knee walls with wood stud wall framing above, wood trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, and vinyl siding. The building will shelter two separate bins for bulk storage material including salt and sand.

Copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 pm, local time, October 7, 2008, at the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150. A fee of Fifty-Five dollars ($55.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. An additional fee of Fifteen dollars ($15.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents which are mailed.
Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids.
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.
