Student Contract

STUDENT CONTRACT

I, ______, as a student in a Steamboat Springs High School science class, have been given copies of the school procedures, classroom procedures and safety rules for the course. They have been explained to me fully. I understand each of these rules and I know that if I break any of the guidelines, I may be subject to loss of points, loss of rights and privileges, and possibly further disciplinary measures by those higher in authority than my teacher. In order to maintain my rights as a student in this class, I agree to adhere to these rules at all times while in science class.

In addition, I understand that I am to act in a responsible, safe manner. Therefore, any equipment or materials, including glassware, which are broken or damaged irresponsibly while in my use are my responsibility. The fine cost will be the current replacement cost of the item.

I also understand that I am to have my parent/guardian read the rules and sign this contract.
