XIV) Recently carried out activities N. van Zuuren – UPDATE(s)
UPDATE Dec. 2000: After “retirement” System Architect for 2 projects, one for Security provisions
within the LAN/WAN Network of the Belgian Gendarmerie ( having been the
System Architect for their LAN/WAN project ) and the other for a project
– declared “Secret” – in the MIL-OPSCIS environment; generally for 2 or 3
days per week
Parallel to those activities ( part time ) I did setup the R&D-Engineering
and Support for a CTI ( Computer-Telephony-Interfacing ) company, their
Documentation process ( incl. Tech. Writing ), enlarging that part from a
staff of 8 to 34 people.
Update April 2001: Was involved ( part time ) in the setup of the Internal Security Infrastructure of a well
known Computer Security supplier; but, as the compensation for “lost” pension rights
remained unclear, I dropped this activity.
