·  1967 – Lights on Payday. Pitch & Putt golf course.

·  1969 – Skier Subway closed.

·  1970 – Three Kings chairlift.

·  1971 – Crescent, Payday, and Lost Prospector chairlifts, Three Kings condominiums.

·  1972 – First Time chairlift, Payday and Crescent Ridge condominiums, Snow Hut restaurant. Nine holes added to golf course. Liquor store opened at resort.

·  1973 – Park Avenue condominiums, National Ski Team facilities, First touring shop and touring track (Wolfe’s), Resort plaza lodging, Alpine Slide.

·  1974 – King Con triple chairlift.

·  1975 – Thaynes chairlift replaced. Pitch & Putt golf course removed.

·  1976 – Jupiter chairlift, Ski Team chairlift, improved snow-making on Payday.

·  1977 – First permanent snow-making. Golf course sold to city.

·  1978 – Prospector chairlift rebuilt.

·  1980 – Motherlode chairlift.

·  1981 – Payday double chairlift replaced with triple chairlift.

·  1982 – Gondola cabins replaced.

·  1984 – Pioneer chairlift.

·  1985 – Town chairlift.

·  1986 – Prospector chairlift replaced with hi-speed chairlift.

·  1987 – Mid-Mountain Lodge moved to present site. Lost Prospector chairlift removed.

·  1993 – King Con hi-speed chairlift, Eagle chairlift.

·  1996 – Prospector hi-speed chairlift replaced by Silverlode 6-pack hi-speed chairlift.

·  1997 – Gondola replaced by Payday and Bonanza 6-pack hi-speed chairlifts. Terrain parks and pipes opened.

·  1998 – McConkey’s 6-pack hi-speed chairlift, Legacy Base Lodge. Original Crescent chairlift removed.

·  2000 – Eagle Superpipe.

·  2002 – ZipRider.

·  2004 – First Time hi-speed chairlift.

·  2006 – Silver Star chairlift, Alpine Coaster. Ski Team chairlift closed (removed 2007).

·  2008 – Crescent hi-speed chairlift.

·  2011 – Flying Eagle Zip Rider. Three Kings chairlift replaced.

EVENTS

·  1963 – Grand Opening December 21st.

·  1965 – Ribbon cutting with Lady Bird Johnson.

·  1967/68 – “Blanche” advertising campaign.

·  1968/69 – Plane crash on Hidden Splendor.

·  1971/72 – GLM teaching method offered. Park City Resort “Town Crier” published.

·  1972 – Park City’s first outdoor concert - Gordon Lightfoot/Leo Kottke at Park City Resort amphitheatre (base of Payday).

·  1972/73 – Nastar racing offered.

·  1974/75 – Hot Spot appeared (spontaneous combustion of trees from King Con runs).

·  1975/76 – Skis shorter than 190cm not allowed on The Hoist. Blueslip Bowl opened.

·  1976/77 – Worst snow year in 50 years. Park City Ski Area opened in January.

·  1982 – Silver King Coalition building burned.

·  1984/85 – First World Cup alpine skiing event, Men’s & Women’s Slalom.

·  1985/86 – National Ability Ski Center opened.

·  1988 – Twenty Fifth Anniversary.

·  1996/97 – Snowboards allowed.

·  2002 – Olympic alpine skiing and snowboard events.

·  2003 – Last of 12 World Cup alpine skiing events, Men’s & Women’s Slalom & GS.

·  2011 – Leased land legal dispute.

·  2013 – Fiftieth Anniversary.
