The following courses may require a Sessional Instructional Assistant - CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement

Effective January 1, 2017 the minimum hourly rate is $43.43/ hour plus 4% vacation pay.

Summer courses begin May 1, 2017 through July 31, 2017 with a final exam period August 8-19, 2017.

Cell and Molecular Biology Laboratory
D. Bawa / 96 / 2 / 140 hrs each / May 1 to August 31 / Includes: ability, academic qualifications, suitability for the position and appropriate background in the subject/specialty. Previous lab experience in cell biology and molecular biology required. Must be BioSafety Certified (proof required) or be willing to undergo BioSafety training prior to taking up the position. / Duties for the position may vary and include: preparation for classes, setting up and demonstrating laboratories, marking lab reports, and invigilating exams. Specific duties are defined in the Description of Duties and Allocation of Hours form by the instructor in charge of the course
