SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT’s EDI application is functioning normally and outbound transaction processing has resumed.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED: February 6, 2008 from 12:45 PM to 2:56 PM

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an outage of the EDI application today, February 6, 2008 from 12:45 PM to 2:56 PM. During this outage, ERCOT was able to receive inbound transactions through NAESB, however ERCOT was not able to send outbound transactions. The outage was the result of a blocked port. ERCOT is continuing to investigate and an update will be provided when additional information becomes available.

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is currently experiencing an outage of the EDI application. Transactions stopped processing internally at approximately 12:45 PM. ERCOT is still able to receive transactions inbound through our NAESB system, however ERCOT is not sending any transactions outbound. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
