Field of Expertise in Research
Molecular and signal transductional pharmacology, with specific application to the investigation of the biomolecular basis of the action of drugs used for the treatment of anxiety and stress disorders.
·  Postdoctoral studies in signal-transductional molecular pharmacology at the Dept. of Pharmacology, University of Michigan from July 1998 until June 1999, under Dr. Richard. R. Neubig.
·  Supervised several postgraduate, research-related M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies
·  Established and headed the central Laboratory for Applied Molecular Biology (LAMB) at the North-West University (2000 - 2009).
·  Editor and peer-reviewer for several international scientific journals.

·  The effect of early-life exposure of rats to antidepressants on behaviour in adulthood.
