MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
CENTRAL FLORIDA COMBO MEETING AT LAKE MIRROR TOWER
JULY 14, 2012
Meeting was called to order at 9:20 A.M., by President Deborah Werner, AIS, AINS, ARM, CIC, CPIW, CPCU. Deborah welcomed members to the yearly Central Florida Associations Meeting.
Glenda Griffin, AIS, API, CPIW, DAE, PIAM, CPII, blessed the meal.
Meeting was suspended at 9:22 A.M. for brunch.
Biscuits & Gravy, Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage, Hash BrownCasserole, Quiche, Fruit, Muffins & Pound Cake were all available.
Meeting resumed at 10:07 A.M.
Deborah Werner welcomed IPGOPast-President Karen Ramsey, ACSR, CPIW, DAE, PIAM, CPII. Karen talked about the great year IPGO had for 2012 and all the events and fundraisers they partook in. Not a month went by without an event planned for this successful group. (See detailed attachment)
CCIP President Nancy Bell gave a summary of the year her members enjoyed. Even with only 4 members, this group is very mighty and was involved in several community projects. Membership has since doubled in the beginning of July with 4 new members.

Drawing for numerous Door Prizes
CFIP Past-President DianaStack, PIAM, CPIW, AIAM, CPII continued the meeting by summarizing the events that her members contributed too. Although CFIP lost more than half of its beginning membership, they continued to stay involved in the community and impact the lives of those around them. (No attachment provided)
IPPC Past-President Annette Blake PIAM, CIIP, spoke of the year her members had in 2012. There were many educational speakers throughout the year with a wide range of topics. Community projects and donations were made as well.(See detailed attachment)
Drawing for numerous Door Prizes
Florida Council Director, Betty Curry, CPSR, CPIA, CPIW, DAE, continued the meeting.
Betty spoke about the State Council Meeting that will be held on September 7-8, 2012 in Jacksonville. Many CE Classes will be offered. In order to cut costs, the 2013 State Council Meeting will be the last Florida State meeting for IAIP members. Also, new colorful name badges are available for $5.25 on the IAIP website.Betty encourages everybody to try the new theme – “Step Outside the Box”. Goals have also been set for the new 2012 Presidents.

Region III Vice President, Betty Jo Ribeiro, PIAM, ACSR, CPIW, DAE, discussed the Board Meeting and urged members to vote for Regionals to resend Motion 6. She also would like members to keep an open mind this year with new changes under way.
