CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETING
The Central Committee meeting of our Union was held on 29th October 2012. Various issues affecting the members at Bank level as well as Industry level were discussed and deliberated. The Central Committee also decided to conduct the 35th General Council at Chennai on 10th and 11th March 2013. A detailed circular in this regard will be released in due course. We impress upon all our members to prepare for successful conduct of the conference with usual spirit and splendour.
The Central Committee approved the nomination of Shri S.Nagarajan, Deputy General Secretary, Chennai Sub-office as Federation Council Member and also nomination of S/Shri S.Krishnakumar, Deputy General Secretary, Chennai Sub-office and R.David Jayakar Roy, Organising Secretary, Tiruchirapalli Sub-office to NCBE at National level as Central Committee members.
RECRUITMENT
We are happy to inform our members that around 1000 new recruits in clerical cadre will be joining our Chennai Circle shortly. This addition of 1000 to the Clerical Cadre though inadequate may ease the work pressure at Branches to some extent. We take this opportunity to welcome them to our great Institution and enjoin upon the Unit Secretaries to enroll them as members of our Union.
