I. Call to Order
Thebusiness meeting was called to order at 4:35p.m.at CCSNH, 26 College Dr., Concord, NH
Chair Holloway declared an emergency meeting due to the immediate need to address a personnel matter.
A roll call was taken. Each Trustee identified himself or herself and his or her location.
II. Nomination – President, NHTI, Concord’s Community College
Dr. Gittell brought forward the nomination of Dr. Susan B. Dunton as President ofNHTI Concord’s Community College. He outlined the public process followed for the finalists for the position. He summarized her credentials, noted that Dr. Dunton had been very wellreceived by the college and was enthusiastic about the offer of the presidency.
Trustee Hitchcock added information about the process and was pleased with the nomination. President Huard noted that there was a high level of support from the campus as evidenced in the feedback information received.
Chancellor Gittell acknowledged the hard work of the Search Committee under the leadership of Trustee Hitchcockand President Huard as well a Trustee Bogle-Shields.
Other trustees also expressed their thanks to the committee.
VOTE:The Board, on motion of Mr. Guyer, seconded by Mr. Calhoun, voted unanimously by roll call vote to approve the nomination of Dr. Susan B. Dunton as President of NHTI Concord’s Community College by Chancellor Ross Gittell, at the salary of $166,700.
