CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD - is a catechetical approach that honours the spirituality of children. Drawing on the Montessori principles of education the atrium provides a quiet space where children come to encounter Jesus the Good Shepherd who knows them and calls them by name. Presented with a series of meditations and concrete materials children are given the opportunity to deepen their reflection through self-chosen art response such as drawing, painting, tracing and hand-works. The atrium caters for children aged 3-12 years. Sessions will be recommencing soon. For more information please contact Victoria Kirley 0418 273 361.

CENTENARY OF FATIMA 1917-2017

2017 marks the centenary of the greatest supernatural event in recent centuries. In 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children in the Portuguese village of Fatima, bringing to the world a Message of conversion and mercy. She authenticated the Message with the spectacular “miracle of the sun,” that was witnessed by over 70,000 people. Mary appeared under the title “The Lady of the Rosary” and she requested that this prayer be prayed often for personal purification, reparation for the sins of mankind and for world peace. To coincide with this important anniversary the Rosary will be prayed in the parish before or after weekday Masses for the rest of this year. Please see the sidebar for times and days. Please go to for more information.
