Lesson 1 (September 20, 2016) 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV) – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Lesson 2 (September 27, 2016) Hebrews 1:1-2 (ESV) – Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Lesson 3 (October 4, 2016) Hebrews 2:9 – But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

Lesson 4 (October 11, 2016) Hebrews 3:12-13 (ESV) – Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Lesson 5 (October 18, 2016) Hebrews 4:12-13 (ESV) – For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Lesson 6 (October 25, 2016) Hebrews 5:9-10 (ESV) – And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him, being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.

Lesson 7 (November 1, 2016) Hebrews 6:19-20 (ESV) – We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Lesson 8 (November 8, 2016) Hebrews 7:24-25 (ESV) – but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Lesson 9 (November 15, 2016) Hebrews 8:6 (ESV) – But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

Lesson 10 (November 29, 2016) Hebrews 9:27-28 (ESV) – And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Lesson 11 (December 13, 2016) Hebrews 10:14 (ESV) – For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

Lesson 12 (January 10, 2017) Hebrews 10:23-25 (ESV) – Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Lesson 13 (January 17, 2017) Hebrews 11:1-3 (ESV) – Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

Lesson 14 (January 24, 2017) Hebrews 11:6 (ESV) – And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Lesson 15 (January 31, 2016) Romans 10:17 (ESV) – So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Lesson 19(February 28, 2017) Jeremiah32:38-40 (ESV) –And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me.

Lesson 20(March 7, 2017) Genesis 50:19-20(ESV) – But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

Lesson 21(March 14, 2017) Exodus 12:13(ESV) – The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

Lesson 22(March 21, 2017) Leviticus 17:11(ESV) – For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.

Lesson 24(April 4, 2017) Deuteronomy 7:9(ESV) – Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

Lesson 25(April 18, 2017) Hebrews 12:1-2(ESV) – Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Lesson 26(April 25, 2017) Hebrews 13:5(ESV) – Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Lesson 27(May 2, 2017) Hebrews 13:20-21(ESV) – Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
