Farm the Land, 13 January – 28 March - Working with Lincolnshire Archives, this fascinating exhibition explores farming through the ages. With lots of historical information and memorabilia together with recollections from local farmers, the exhibition will take you on a trip down memory lane.

Torn: Grief in the Making, 1 February to 2 March - this exhibition explores grief in the modern age and by doing so seeks to celebrate life. Emotion and human reaction fascinate the artist. She sees mourning and grief as a natural and necessary part of life which we should face rather than hide from.

NCCD Young Designers, 1 February, 10am to 1pm - Are you aged 12 to 19 years and love to design, make and create? NCCD Young Designers offers you the chance to work with amazing artists and designers to explore craft and design, develop your skills and confidence, have special access to exhibitions, and create your own designs to be exhibited at the NCCD - £5 per person or £10 for a year-long membership.

Series: Life Drawing, 1 February, 10am-4pm - Perfect for all from beginners to practiced artists, you’ll develop the skills of observation and drawing so necessary to the artist. Learn to explore the dynamics of the human form rather than simply trying to replicate a static pose. A range of materials and a limited number of easels will be available, but please bring along your own supplies if you’d like to use something specific - £18 per person

Intaglio Printing Day with NCCD Printers Inc, 9 February, 10am 4pm - Come along to this taster session with Printers Inc, the NCCD’s very own print club. This workshops is particularly good for those that have some prior experience of printmaking. Be Still My Beating Heart, 14 February, 1pm to 4pm - Workshop for children, families icon A Valentine’s Day Special! Join book sculptor and paper artist Phiona Richards, who has featured on Kirstie’s Handmade Britain, to create beautiful paper hearts to adorn a card or brooch for your loved one - £8 per person

Ceramics Workshop, 17 February, 1pm to 4pm - Join ceramicist Paula Briggs for an afternoon exploring ceramic processes. Using air drying clay, you will learn basic hand-building techniques and produce your own ceramic pot to take home. Dinky Designers, 18 February, 10.30am to 2pm -Little ones under 5 love our fun craft and design sessions run by early years practitioner and professional glass artist Emma Mayle. Each month they will be encouraged to explore one of our inspiring exhibitions, followed by lots of messy and creative play - £3.50 per child

Listen, Make, Create, 21 February, 1pm to 3pm - This popular session is led by professional storyteller Kirsty Mead, who combines storytelling, music, movement and making within her fun and interactive sessions. Each creative workshop will start with a story and end with every child having created something to take home and enjoy - £5 per person

East Midlands Visual Arts Network (EMVAN) Artist Development Workshop, 28 February, 10.30am to 1.30pm - This interactive workshop offers advice, collective problem solving and practical exercises to help artists and designer/makers build an understanding of their place within a visual arts ecology. It encourages self-awareness, ambition and pro-active career development, covering areas such as profile, working practices, networking and connectivity, markets and audiences and knowledge sharing.
