Spring Housing Selection to Begin!

SPRING HOUSING SELECTION TO BEGIN!

Your current housing and dining plans will carry forward for spring, 2014. If you are NOT making any changes to your housing or dining plans for the spring semester, you do NOT have to log on to the website or do anything.

MEAL PLAN CHANGES: If you DO wish to change your meal plan, please log on to My.Mansfield between November 7th and January 10th, select the MyHousing link; then log in under My Housing to be directed to My Housing Overview and choose the Meal Plan tab and make your alternate plan choice. After January 10th, you will need to contact the Residence Life Office at to make any other changes to your meal plan. After January 16th, only increases in your current meal plan can be programmed.

APPEAL TO CANCEL HOUSING: If you wish to leave University housing and seek approval of your exemption rationale, you must request a housing exemption for spring. Log on to My.Mansfield between November 7th and January 10th and select the MyHousing link. Then log in under Apply Online. Select “Exemption Spring 2014” from the drop down box. Follow the prompts to select the exemption.

The only exemptions approved for spring semester are:

Ø  You will be student teaching outside a 25-mile radius of the University

Ø  You will be attending Robert Packer School of Nursing

Ø  You will have an internship outside a 25-mile radius of the University

Ø  You are withdrawing

Ø  You are transferring

Ø  You will graduate in December, 2013

Ø  You will be married prior to next semester (certified copy of marriage certificate required

TO REQUEST A ROOM CHANGE FOR SPRING:

All room change requests will be coordinated by the Graduate Assistant or Residence Director of your building immediately following final exams (December 12th and 13th, 8 AM to 4 PM). Room changes are to be completed before departing for winter break. Any room changes not completed before you leave for break will begin being considered on January 27, 2014.

The Residence Life Office will not be making room changes.
