Supervisors must be satisfied that the university chosen by the student offers a programme of studies which is acceptable as part of a University of York degree. Catalogues/prospectuses for all the international universities involved in our exchange schemes are available via their websites.

The final selection of candidates will be made during January / February. Applicants are expected to be in good academic standing (achieving an average of at least 60% over the academic year). Please state ANY reservations you may have about an applicant’s suitability for the exchange on academic or other grounds: please don’t propose anyone you feel may run the risk of academic failure in spending part of their degree course abroad. We appreciate that you may not have any academic results available at this time.
