DearSchool Administrator:
IAITC’s annual Bike Ride benefiting the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom program, will be rolling past your school betweenSeptember 4-5, 2012! While our bike riders are committed to raising funds for the IAITC program, so schools like yours can use the free resources, they are also equally interested in reaching students about the importance of Illinois Agriculture along the way!
We have an exciting presentation prepared for your students discussing the consumer uses of Illinoisagriculture products. Your students will learn all about the food that is grown in their own hometown by playing along with our“Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” skit. We promise a lively, interactive, and educational presentation that will captivate your students’ attention. Our school presentation is correlated to Illinois Learning Standards 4.A.2b, 12.E.1c, 17.C.1c, 21.B.2 and 22.A.1c, and falls within Assessment Framework 12.4.30
