Subject: Logistical Information for the Extraordinary Chapter
Dear
Holy Week greetings and blessings! We will gather on Friday of Easter Week in St. Louis for our Extraordinary Congregational Chapter. May this Holy Week and Easter season bless you and all of us with Resurrection hope and energy.
As mentioned earlier, the purpose of our Chapter is to make a decision about the direction for governance across the congregation, including vice/provinces and the congregation. Together we will discern what will best serve the good of the whole congregation and our relationships for mission. Come prepared, energized and rested!
We offer some information that may be helpful as you prepare to attend our Chapter.
Schedule
Click here for our Chapter agenda.
- Friday, April 21: Welcome table open for packet pickup from 1:30-5:00pm. Chapter begins with dinner at 5:30pm
- Tuesday, April 25: Chapter formally ends at noon. “Eat In or To Go” box lunches will be provided for those who sign up for one when you pick up your Chapter packet.
Airport Shuttle
The Hilton St. Louis Airport provides complimentary, 24-hour shuttle service to and from St. Louis Lambert International. Shuttles depart the hotel and pick up at the airport every 15 minutes between 4am and 11pm. There is no need to call to schedule a pickup.
- Terminal 1: Hotel shuttle pickup location is on the lower level next to baggage claim. The exit is marked MT 18.
- Terminal 2 (Southwest Airlines): Hotel shuttle pickup location is on the lower level next to baggage claim. The exit is marked ET 15.
Parking
Complimentary parking is provided for all attendees.
- If you are staying at the hotel, you may park in the 15-minute parking spots to the right of the main entrance while you check in. The hotel staff will advise where would be best to park after you check in.
- If you are not staying at the hotel, you should park near to our meeting rooms. As you pull in to the Hilton, you will keep right and drive to the parking gates. Press the button on the kiosk to receive a white ticket, and keep it in your car. Once you park, enter through the rear “Ballroom Entrance.” You will receive a blue parking ticket at our welcome table when you arrive, and we will explain how to use it to exit the lot.
