Regional Network Meeting
Purpose:Facilitate/encouragedevelopment of local communities of support through on-going regional network team meetings to support the strategic planning, support and shared resources to promote effective, enduring implementation of evidence based practices (PBS, EBISS, RTI, etc.) in regions throughout the state.
Goals of Regional Network Meetings:
- Create a local community of PBS/EBISS/RTI/etc. Support, Leadership & Collaboration to maximize local resources for coaching and training support
- Plan regular opportunities for local coaches and administrators to communicate (share successes and examples and problem solve challenges) to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of PBS/EBISS implementation
- Develop relationships and contacts with local PBS/EBISS Coaches and implementers to encourage ongoing communications and support through regional meetings
- Organize awareness of local PBS Coaches, implementers, trainings, events and resources involved in PBS/EBISS or related activities
- Engage in on-going needs assessment to:
- guide ongoing Action planning and development of regional PBS/EBISS support
- maximize the effectiveness of local and state level resources and training opportunities through effective regional planning
The objective of the following worksheets is to give regions around the state a “starting point” to assist in planning and developing regional networks to support effective, sustained implementation of evidence based practices. Please fill out the following worksheets during your meeting today. Then give the worksheets to the PBIS Network member facilitating the meeting. Copies will be made during lunch and redistributed later.

3. Schedule for Regional Team Meetings – it is recommended that regional teams meet at least every 2 months or quarterly… but think about a schedule that is likely to be sustained and most productive given the variables within your region. When possible coordinate regional meetings dates to coincide with visits from your state coordinator/trainers for PBS or EBISS.

- What are the strengths & needs of the coaches in your region?(examples: Assessment/ Evaluation <SET, BOQ, SWIS, Data based Decision Making>, Coaching SW-PBS teams <effective meetings, acknowledgment incentives, improving recess>, leading Team Leader Meetings or District Leadership Meetings, etc.)
You might plan to divide up today’s sessions between coaches and to share content at a later regional meeting in order to maximize access to content at today’s conference.
