Movyans Skolyow Meythrin is a Community Interest Company based in Redruth that provides bilingual Saturday preschool to children aged between 2 and 5.
The work will be irregular and varying in size and commitment; from translating around 2 sides of text to a regular commitment to translate our website and its updates. The work will be to a deadline.
Essential:
· Be at least 18 years of age
· Fluency in Cornish and English
· Positive and enthusiastic attitude
· Commitment to achieve high standards of accuracy
· Good communication and organisation skills
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Responsible and reliable nature
· Flexibility and ability to work to deadlines
· Office (software) proficiency and ability to communicate via the internet
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Enthusiasm for our work and ability to represent Movyans Skolyow Meythrin and Skol Veythrin Karenza
· Willingness to follow organisational policies, including health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality, and financial guidelines
· Relevant experience or qualification or studying a relevant course

Movyans Skolyow Meythrin is the only Community Interest Company in Cornwall which offers the opportunity for children of preschool age and their families to learn the Cornish language understand and use it in a formal setting. Our bilingual teachers are both qualified, experienced professionals and therefore provide an affordable high quality service to the children and their families.
