Credit Card Fraud

Comments: Report of a vehicle prowl in which a purse and credit cards were taken. The credit cards were used at a few local businesses and two suspects were identified. At approximately 2300 hours the suspects were located sleeping inside a business in the 1100 block of View Ave. They were identified as Daniel M. Alexander, 25, of Belfair WA, and Ada M. Sohm, 19, of Skokomish WA. Both were booked into the Lewis County Jail for Theft 2nd degree and two counts of Unlawful Factoring of Transactions. Ms. Sohm was additionally booked for possession of methamphetamine.

Comments: Centralia Police responded to a possible burglary in progress to a closed business. Upon arrival Charon O. Jones, 45, of Redwood City CA, was found in the alcove by the front door with an open can of beer. Mr. Jones became aggressive with the officer, charging him, and telling him to shoot him. The officer pulled his Taser and warned Mr. Jones several times to stop and get on the ground or he would be tased. Mr. Jones finally complied and lay down on the ground. When officers went to handcuff him he tried to pull away. He was finally secured in handcuffs but continued to curse at officers and make comments about being “Trump Happy”. Mr. Jones was issued a Notice of Infraction for Open/Consume Liquor in Public. He was booked into the Lewis County Jail for Obstructing a Public Servant and Resisting Arrest.
