Client Onboarding:
Intro to Creating Ads
Exercise: Update the ad you previously created in Ad Builder to include animations.
1. Open the Ad Builder ad you created in the previous exercise.
2. Create an animation so the Sizmek logo slides in from the left.
Tips:
§ Click on the Sizmek logo.
§ Within the Properties panel, uncheck the Show On Load checkbox. Also note the Y axis location for later.
§ Click on the Master Banner on the left layers panel.
§ Within the Actions and Animations panel for the Master Banner, click +Create New Event.
§ Within the Select Event dropdown, choose On Load.
§ Below the Event, click the New Action bar to expand the selection.
§ Within the Select Action dropdown, select Show, under Animations.
§ Within the Select Target dropdown, select the name of the Sizmek logo.
§ Start On Trigger 0 ms
§ Within the Actions and Animations panel, next to the On Load event, click +Add Action.
§ Within the Select Action dropdown, select Slide In, under Animations.
§ Within the Select Target dropdown, select the name of the Sizmek logo.
§ Start After Previous 0 ms.
§ Start X: -250 Y: 0
§ Duration: 1500 ms
§ Repeat 0 Times
§ Click Preview at the top right. You should see the Sizmek Logo slide in from the left.
3. Create an animation so the Open Ad Management Text Component slides in from the right after the Sizmek logo slides in.
Tips:
§ Click on the Text Component.
§ Within the Properties panel, uncheck the Show On Load checkbox. Also note the Y axis location for later.
§ Within the Actions and Animations panel, click Add Action.
§ Within the Select Action dropdown, select Show.
§ Within the Select Target dropdown, select the name of the text component.
§ Start After Previous
§ Click +Add Action.
§ Within the Select Action dropdown, select Slide In, under Animations.
§ Within the Select Target dropdown, select the name of the text component.
§ Start After Previous 0 ms
§ Start X: 350 Y: (Should be the current location of the text on the Y axis from when you created the ad)
§ Duration: 1500 ms
§ Repeat 0 Times
§ Click Preview. You should see the Sizmek Logo slide in from the left, then the Text Component slide in from the right.
4. Create an animation where the Click Here button rotates in from the bottom after the Sizmek Logo and Open Ad Management text component appear.
Tips:
§ Uncheck the Show On Load checkbox.
§ You’ll need to create three Actions: Show, Motion or Slide In, then Rotate (360 degrees).
§ Note that when the button Motion or Slides in, it should start from below the ad and end and the bottom right of the ad (X: 189 Y:214).

5. Play around with adding in additional actions and animations.
