private,nonprofitorganizationdesignated bythegovernorofMichigantoadvocateforandprotecttherightsofpeoplewithdisabilitiesinMichigan.MPASservicesincludeinformationandreferral,short- termassistance,selectedindividualandlegalrepresentation,systemicadvocacy, monitoring,andtraining.TheClientAssistantProgram(CAP)resides

withinMPAS.

TheClientAssistanceProgram(CAP)isafederallymandatedandfundedprogramundertheRehabilitationActof1973,

asamended.Informationcontainedinthisdocumentisfor informationalpurposesonlyanddoesnotconstitutelegaladvice.
