I. Order Policies:

Move Prospect to Customer (New Business only)
Add SOLD Activity – Enter Comm$ in Amount Field (New Business only*)
*Also enter SOLD activity if Additional Lines of Business on existing customer
Enter SIC Code and Info Screen Information (Contacts, etc.)
Update New / Future Application as needed. Move Future to Current (Renewal only) (IMPORTANT: Complete History Box!! ex: 04/05 Prior to Renewal thru CNA)
Submit New / Renewal Order to Binding Company(ies) (BIRQ)
Update Billing Screens (include policy #’s, issuing/billing companies, etc.)
Transact / invoice all policies
Issue Binders (BIND)
Set up pending for Audits on expired policies (AUDS)(Renewal Only)
Notify unsuccessful companies & reason why – Close all open mktg activities.
Verify that signed Company Rating Acknowledgement Letter is in file
(if coverage is written with low-rated, nonrated or non-admitted carrier)
Set up policy files or permanent file (T-filing)
Issue Certificates of Insurance (as needed) (CERT)
Ø  Create NEW Master Certificate pulling holders as needed from old masters
Ø  Add Sticky Note (Aqua) to Policy List Screen with any special conditions
Issue Auto ID Cards (as needed) (AUID)
Issue Evidence of Property (as needed) (EVID)
Prepare Premium Finance Agreement (as needed) (NOTS)
Send Welcome Letter (New Business Only)
Send My Job Letter (New Business Only)

II. Processing Policies:

Date / Who / Task
Verify coverages / endorsements per our order (NBUS or RBUS)
Close BIND activity - Close Binder
Update Client, Billing and Info Screens as needed
Transact / invoice premium differences (reverse EXACT amt & reenter correct)
Order endorsements for corrections (CHGR)
Prepare for delivery and give to producer (PRPO). Indicate any difference in premiums/coverages and any corrections ordered.
Verify Certificates, ID Cards, Evidence of Property forms - correct as needed
Mail Policies to Customer (if advised by Producer) (POLD)
