With control over Temperature, CO2, %RH, Objective Temperature, and O2the LiveCellTM system is the only fully integrated, easy to use stage top incubation platform. At the push of a button, you have adjustable, precise, and stable control of your time-lapse imaging environment without the need for expensive pre-mixed gas, flow rate adjustments, or excessive evaporative loss of media. Now time-lapse observations can take place for days if not weeks with just one system, and one controller.

Temperature, CO2, %RH, and O2 are all fully adjustable through the front panel. A simple change of the target “Set Value” and the controllers will react and begin to maintain the environment at the new “Set Value”. Since the chamber is under a positive pressure, there is no doubt about the environment surrounding your cells.

Fine control of chamber humidity is required to eliminate any worry of condensation that might damage your microscope while minimizing media evaporation. Sensors located inside of the chamberprovide accurate feedback for humidification control.

The LiveCellTM system was designed with simplicity, stability, and flexibility in mind. Depending on your application, any of the functions can be enabled or disabled at the touch of a button. With the exception of temperature control, all of the other functions are optional and can be added at any time to make a completely integrated unit.

In order to keep the cost of use low, 100% CO2, 100% O2 are used and with a low flow rate to the small chamber, the gas usage is minimal.

To operate the system you simply set the bottom half of the chamber in the stage opening, make the connections, add water to the humidification bottle, turn the system on, wait for stability, then add your sample.

The green enable switches will determine which functions are on, the red alarm LEDs will tell you if the system is not stable.The displays on the controllers inform you of the current measurements.

The chamber and its heated glass lid have no negative effects on (DIC) Differential Interference Contrast imaging, fluorescence, or phase contrast imaging.

The Universal Insert accommodates nearly all disposables and can be easily modified to allow tubing access or flow cells
