Pool / The pool is a 6-lane 25-yard pool with a depth of 12’ at the start end and 4’ at the shallow end. Touchpads will be used for all events 50 yards and longer. The competition course is certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The copy of certification is on file with USA Swimming.
Facility / Milford High School has a seating capacity of over 400 spectators. Team areas will be determined after entries are received. USA Swimming rules require all personnel on the pool deck to be meet participants, meet workers or coaches. No spectators will be allowed on the scoreboard side of the pool.

Outreach swimmers may qualify for reduced or waived meet fees. Please contact the entry chairs.
Entry Limits / Swimmers are limited to 4 individual events and 1 relay per session.
Entries may be restricted to ensure compliance with Ohio Swimming’s time line restrictions. If necessary to keep sessions under 4 hours, longer events may be limited to the top 12 athletes. In the event of unexpectedly heavy entries, MAST reserves the right to not exclude any MAST swimmers.
Deck entries will be accepted into open lanes only. No heats will be added. Deck entry fees are $6.00 for individual events and $8.00 for relays, plus $2.00 for any swimmer not already entered in the meet. Deck entries will close 40 minutes before each session begins.
Swimmer Eligibility / No swimmer will be permitted to compete unless the swimmer is a member as provided in Article 302. USA Swimming registration will not be accepted at this meet.
Rules / Current USA Swimming rules will govern the conduct of the meet. All swimmers, coaches and officials must be registered USA Swimming members. USA Swimming registrations will not be accepted at the meet. Coaches and Officials must wear their USA Swimming card while on deck. Age on the first day of the meet will determine age group for the meet. We will be using the WHISTLE and NO RECALL STARTS.
It is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.
Unless approved in writing in advance of the competition by the Vice President of Program Operations, operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.
Diving Requirement / Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
Format / This is a timed finals meet. No check in is required for any event. There will be no penalty for missing an event. We reserve the right to use fly over starts and to combine heats.

Heat Sheets / There will be no admission fee for this meet.
Heat sheets will be available for $3.00.
Age Groups / The meet will be swum with 8 & Under, 10 & Under and Open events. Open events are open to all swimmers entered in the meet.

Deck Changing Prohibited / Deck changes are prohibited.
Adaptive Swimming / Swimmers with disabilities are welcome to enter Ohio swimming meets. Coaches/Club entry contact: 1. Enter the swimmers on Hy-Tek or the paper entry form; 2. Provide advance notice of any necessary accommodations; 3. List in the email with the entries (or on paper) the swimmer’s name, entry times, strokes/distance, days/sessions. Preferred seeding is with the swimmer’s same age group either in the same distance race or a longer distance race (i.e. 50 free during the 100 free). Exceptions to this should be listed in “necessary accommodations”.
Restrictions / In compliance with USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, the use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms. Under no circumstances are cameras or any other recording device allowed in the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for race starts during the competition and warm-up. Please refer to the Safe Sport section of the Ohio Swimming, Inc. policies and procedures for further information regarding the use of visual recording devices.
Use of flash photography at the start of a race is detrimental to the swimmers and is prohibited.
Warm-ups and Meet Start / Specific warm-ups will be assigned to each team after entries are received. Saturday AM meet start time 8:00am

Sunday PM meet start time 1:00pm
MAST reserves the right to adjust start times based on the number of entries received.
Warm-up Procedures / OH Warm-up procedures may, at the discretion of the host team, be modified based on number of swimmers in the meet and other safety and logistical concerns.
Ohio LSC Swimming Safety Guidelines and warm-up procedures will be in effect at this meet.
a. We reserve the right to assign warm-up lanes.
b. The coaches of the teams assigned to a lane shall determine the warm-up procedure for that lane.
c. Except during supervised racing starts, swimmers must enter the pool feet first in a cautious manner with one hand in contact with the pool deck.
d. The host team may choose to divide the warm-up into two sessions depending on the size of the meet.
e. Coaches shall actively supervise their swimmers throughout the warm-up session.
Timers / We may request each visiting team to supply timers. We will let you know once all entries are received.
Officials / Any USA Swimming official who would like to officiate, please contact us at letting us know your availability. Please note your certification level, if an Ohio LSC official. We will rotate officials through all eligible positions. All help is greatly appreciated.
