#1. Opening Prayer: Open the class with prayer. Allow one of the students to pray or the teacher can pray.

#2 Introductions/Attendance: Take the attendance, introduce yourself to the class, allow the students to introduce themselves. Introduce and welcome any new students. Ask the students if they have any good news to share or if they are in need of prayers. Write these on the attendance sheets.

#3. Icebreaker: Ask the icebreaker question. Allow all the students to answer this question. Usually the answers will vary, for these there is no wrong or right answer.

#4. Scripture Reading: Allow the students to take turns reading the scripture. It is important that the students read this in order to increase their reading abilities.

  1. What does it mean to worship?

ANS. WORSHIP MEANS TO EXPRESS OUR LOVE TO GOD. IT IS HOW WE SHOW GOD THAT WE ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO GOD AND ONLY GOD. THAT WE LOVE GOD, THAT WE ADORE GOD,THAT WE THINK OF GOD AS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF OUR LIVES.

  1. What are some different types of worship that you have seen or experienced?

ANS. WORSHIP HAPPENS IN MANY WAYS, QUIET PRAYER, BIBLE READING, SONG, QUIET MEDITATION, SHARING OF GOD’S GOODNESS, PRAISING GOD ETC.

  1. What is it like to worship at your church?

ANS. WILL VARY, WORSHIP IS FUN, WORSHIP IS DIFFERENT.

  1. What is your part in worship?

ANS. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS THAT ARE A PART OF WORSHIP HERE AT GLENVILLE, SILENT PRAYER, SCRIPTURE, SONG, DANCE, MUSIC, PREACHING, TEACHING ETC.

  1. How can you tell if worship has been real and true to God?

ANS. IF WORSHIP IS REAL AND TRUE IT WILL CHANGE PEOPLE’S LIVES. YOU WILL WANT TO LIVE DIFFERNTLY, YOU WILL BE DIFFERNTLYL.

  1. How can you tell if worship has been false and not true to God?

ANS. IF WORSHIP IF FALSE AND NOT TRUE TO GOD, YOU WILL LEAVE CHURCH AS IF NOTHING HAS EVEN HAPPENED.

  1. When people speak in worship how does that affect Worship?

ANS. IT DEPENDS UPON WHAT THEY ARE SPEAKING. IF SOMEONE IS READING THE SCRIPTURES THAN IT ADDS TO WORSHIP. IF SOMEONE IS TALKING AND LAUGHING IN THE BACK THEN IT TAKES AWAY FROM WORSHIP.

  1. What types of speak are good during worship? What types of speak are bad?

ANS. GOOD PREACHING, READING SCRIPTURE, SHARING A TESTIMONEY, PRAISE, SONGS. BAD LAUGHING TELLING JOKES, FIGHTING, TEASING, TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE.

  1. Have you ever heard that worship should be a celebration? What does this mean that we should celebrate? Who or what are we celebrating?

ANS. YES OR NO, CELEBRATING MEANS THAT WE ARE CELEBRATING GOD’S GOODNESS IN OUR LIVES.

10. How can you personally make worship here at our church better? Give specific answers.

ANS. BEING ON TIME, PARTICIPATING, SEEING THAT WORSHIP IS FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST FOR ADULTS, RESPECTING OTHER PEOPLES WAY AND STYLES OF WORSHIP. BEING QUIET WHEN IT IS TIME TO BE QUIET, SPEAKING WHEN IT IS TIME TO SPEAK, ETC.
