On the left side of the screen select REPORTS and you see a list of test reports to choose from. All of last year’s reports are under PRIOR Year. Current year reports will be populated with new data as they become available. Roster reports are the first to show results as data are uploaded and scored. Summary reports and Assessment reports give you a good overview. Not all of the current year reports are available in the PRIOR YEAR selections. Classroom Matrix report appears to be one of those. Your Class Item Analysis report will give you much of the same types of information, but as a class summary. Classroom Matrix combines both Classroom summary and individual student reports into one! See below for a listing of the various reports and their descriptions.

PRIOR YEAR REPORT OPTIONS

For many of the Acuity reports, you can get the information based on the Common Core Standards or the Missouri Standards. You simply selected which “Standards to report by”.

School Assessment Report

Once you select a report you can click on the blue links on the far right to access related reports, i.e., Print Verion, View School Item Analysis Report, and View School Roster Report.

This report shows you the Percent of students predicted to fall in the four different MAP performance levels- colored bars labeled L1, L2, L3, and L4. As well as the average scale score for that group, i.e., 410 with a standard deviation of 72.

This lower portion of the School Assessment report shows:

Average % Points obtained, and the same by item- Multiple choice and Constructed response. In this case, students received more points on the MC items. The section with the blue and gray color bars below, show the Percentage of studets scoring in the 4 different Tiers (0-25% correct, 26-50% correct, 51-75% correct, 76-100% correct). THIS IS NOT the same as the percentage of students scoring in the PREDICTED MAP performance levels. Here you can look at results based on Standards and Objectives or Strands and Big Idea. For example, in Reading the average percent of points earned by this group of students was 43%. None of the students obtained 76% to 100% points for this strand.

School Item Analysis report

This report allows you to see by item, group/student results. You can use the distractor analysis report to see where the common errors or mis-conceptions occurred and plan instruction accordingly. Acuity will automatically assign students instructional resources based on test results. Students simply login and complete these activities. Teachers can also use these instructional resources as class activities, online or paper and pencil. Some of these resources are interactive. There is an auditory feature for students that have trouble reading directions, etc.

Once the first Acuity Benchmark has been taken and you have data to report on for the current school year, click on Reports to the left=> then Item Analysis Reports=> then in the center at the top click on Classroom Matrix Report

Select the subject, assessment type is Predictive, School, Class, and Assessment=> then click Get Report. Note, only central office/district level employees will have access to the district item analysis report.

Click Open or Save and look at the classroom matrix in MS Excel. Just as in MS Excel, you can sort based on column headers.

You have information showing the students and how they performed: Predicted Proficiency Level, points obtained (PTs) all items and MC only, and % correct all items and MC only. Off to the far right you can scroll through to see the item number, the standard related to that item, is it MC or CR, the correct answer, what that individual student selected and how the class did on that item. Altogether, this report gives a lot of useful information in one look to help identify those students that need the most help and in what areas, as well as what instructional changes need to be made for the whole class. This information also shows what students have already mastered. You can use this report to help differentiate and target instructional efforts.

INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES

After Acuity testing is completed, data scored, and loaded, students will have instructional resources assigned to them as needed. Teachers may go in and check to see student progress, or assign additional resources as needed.
