The Principal’s New Principles
The principal of Millikan announced his new principles for school. Students could no longer desert their dessert on the lunch tables. Whether the weather is hot or cold, there will be no horsing around in the halls. Teachers’ voices are becoming hoarse when forced to yell over the noise. There will be no pedaling of bicycles in the hallway, or peddling of candy at school. All students must practice acts of kindness and show patience whenever in trouble. Only true patients will be sent to the nurse. The student council will counsel all students who have trouble with the above rules.
Get out, Mr. Stout !
No one liked the stout stranger. This rotund food gobbler ate a superfluous amount of food. Food made him ecstatic. He was completely elated when he was eating. Wherever he went, he left a deficiency of food behind. The entire town loathed him. He wouldn’t allow anyone else to eat. Everyone became infuriated with the stout man’s manners. After he enraged the whole community, the mayor had him removed from the town. The stout stranger was never seen again.
