Examples to reach Legislators regarding ACA:

Call their offices:

Look up on Facebook your Senators/Congressman and DM or post on their page

Dear Senator Isakson:

I am writing to you because I am concerned about the future of Medicaid and theAffordable Care Act.I am distressed by the recent attempts to cut Medicaid and to repeal the ACA, whichtogether would have caused millions to lose their health coverage. My grandmother is an 89 year-old recipient of Medicaid benefits after battling Colon cancer and we could not imagine what her care would have been like without it. Not to mention the burden and stress of having to care for her financially and physically would have been for our family.

As your constituent, I want to urge you to abandon partisan efforts to repeal or weakenthe ACA and Medicaid, and instead work in a bi-partisan way to improve health care andcoverage for all Georgians. Helping Georgians get the care they need makes the healthcare system stronger for us all. Each and every one of us will someday be in need of medical attention, and having access to affordable, quality health care with the peace of mind that comes from knowing it’s ACA is there is priceless.

Sincerely,

Tarenia Carthan

A Caring Georgian

Tweet @SenatorIsakson I urge you to abandon partisan efforts to repeal or weaken the ACA instead work in a bi-partisan way to improve health care

Write a letter or post-card however just remember it takes longer as all mail must be scanned before getting into the office of our Legislators (upto 6 weeks)

Be creative and invite others to join us on bombarding our Congress and Senators to not cut ACA or Medicaid but make it better for all Georgians.
