5. / LAND WEST OF BEDFORD ROAD
Representatives from Hunter Page Planning will be attending the meeting to talk about the proposed development on land to the rear of The Old Red Lion on Bedford Road. The original proposed plans have been amended to reduce the developable area (from 65 to 62 dwellings) and increase the area of open space. A copy of the additional information and amended plans is attached at Appendix A, for information.

7. / PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER
Notice has been received that (Houghton Regis: Part of Footpath No. 5) Public Path Extinguishment Order 2014 was made on the 12th December 2014 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. This extinguished that part of Footpath No. 5 between points A and B, as shown on the accompanying map. (Appendix B) The reason for the extinguishment is because the footpath described is not needed for public use.
