  • Working as process engineer in technical and development from(2/9/2007)@ egyptian projects operation and Maintenance of the Hydro Carbons Industries Co.(MIDOM-EPROM) S.A.E,Egypt -Alexandria – El Ameria , Free zone,Middle East Oil Refinery( MIDOR SITE).

Job description / 1)During working inMIDOR oil refinery:

oAssist the Assistant general manger / Department manager in setting and maintaining optimum operating guidelines

Assist in monitoring, recording and analyzing operating data for my assigned facilities.

  • Prepare data for inclusion in routine plant performance reports.
  • Identify variances from design performance and bring to the attention ofother process engineer. Attending daily, routine and unplanned unit activities.
  • Applying unit simulations for relevant unit and equipments performance check.

oAssist in identifying and solving operating problems.

Contribute to definition of the problem as clearly as possible.

Gather relevant data.

Assist in review of similar problems experienced elsewhere.

Assist in identifying possible causes and solutions.

Contribute to the report of findings and proposals.

oAssist in providing the process engineering technical services related to new designs process modifications and PFCP's (process facilities change proposals)

oAssist in identifying the technical services required

oAssist in necessary calculations or investigation

oContribute to the preliminary report

oSupervise the change and skimming of catalyst in different MIDOR oil refinery units specially (Utilities and Facilities – DieselHydrotreating-Sulfur Recovery)units.

  • As member of Environment Protection Committee in MIDOR refinery , responsible for finding new operation for handling oil sludge from WWTP and tanks desludging processes, studying the application of zero liquid discharge and reuse in MIDOR oil refinery.

  • To confirm that the management system is capable of achieving the organization’s policy objectives.
2)During working in Alex fiber :
  • Working as shift engineer in charge (process engineer) supervising for polymerization area, dope making area, solvent recovery area, and tank farm area.
  • Solving problems & troubleshooter for process problems, controlling process from the DCS (Yokogawa centum CS 3000) & PLC, reading & working from P&ID, P F D & isometric.
