Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to 5th grade and the East Aurora Middle School! We suggest you purchase the items below during the summer to make the first week of school less hectic for you and your family. Please put your name on all items before school starts. We look forward to meeting you on Wednesday, September 3rd.

·  6 – 1 ½ inch three ring binders with pocket or clear document display sleeve on cover (Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, ELA, 10 week courses & daily take home binder)

·  5 - packages of 5 tab dividers

·  2 - stretchy book covers – 1 jumbo & 1 standard

·  2 - red pens

·  2 - low odor dry erase markers

·  2 – highlighters

·  2 – boxes of family size tissues

·  1 - 3 ring zipper pencil holder pouch

·  1 - package of sharpened #2 pencils (labeled)

·  1 – large glue stick

·  1 – eraser

·  1 – box of colored pencils

·  1 – package of wide ruled loose leaf paper

·  1 – clipboard

·  1 – box of Ziploc bags (boys – gallon/girls – snack)

·  $15 field trip/party donation (in an envelope labeled with student name - $12/field trips & $3/parties)

·  1 – small locker shelf (optional)

Items need for Rotations and Specials:

§  Rotations: 1-1 ½ “ Binder (the same binder is used all 4 quarters)

§  Business: 1 USB drive 512 MB or greater

§  Music: 1 folder with pockets and prongs

§  Physical Education: 1 combination lock for PE locker
