Travel information
- arriving by air
The Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport is only 4 km from the city centre. The taxi stop is located in front of the arrival hall. The fare from the airport to the city centre is between 8 - 10 € on average and it takes you about 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic.
You can also choose a bus nr 2 which takes you from the airport (Lennujaam) to the city centre. You must exit in the final stop Reisisadam (Passanger port A-terminal), the hotel is about 100m backwards from the bus stop. It takes you about 20 minutes to reach the hotel.
Tickets can be bought in the bus for 1, 6 € or inside the airport terminal from R-Kiosk for 0,96 €. Tickets must be validated in the bus!
- arriving by sea
When you arrive at Tallinn by ferry, it is very easy to find the way to the hotel as the hotel is located in the port area.
- arriving by road
When you prefer to get toTallinn by bus (Eurolines, Ecoline, Hansabuss), you can take from Tallinn Central Bus Station either a taxi or bus No 2 (from Autobussijaam to stop Reisisadam).
Preparation for the seminar
Be prepared to introduce your institution and it´s activities as well as your role, tasks and experience!
Please bring with you:
- informative materials (leaflets, posters, photos etc) about your institution and region/country to present at the European Evening and to share with the participants during working sessions (there will be tables, wall space, tapes, markers, scissors available to exhibit your materials);
- typical snacks and/or drinks from your country for the European Fair (optional) .
Currency
The local currency is EURO (1Euro=100 cents)
Money can be exchanged at the airport and at the hotel or any bank such as Swedbank, SEB etc. It is common to use credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and Euro card. Credit cards are accepted by most shops and also by some taxi companies.

Leisure time
Shopping centres are open 7 days a week from 10 - 21.
