Local Course Rules

Out of Bounds (The info on back of scorecard is incorrect. The following are correct.)

Out of Bounds is marked by white stakes or a white line. #1 and #9 have an in-course out of bounds. The in-course out of bounds only applies to the tee-shot. On the tee shot, if the player goes out of bounds, he must hit a second tee shot. Once the ball is off of the tee, there is no longer an in-course out of bounds.

Small Trees

Some “new” trees have yellow/orange flags beside them. There is free relief if they should interfere with your stance, swing, or flight of the ball. Any other trees = no relief.

Ties

Card back rules will be used to break individual ties. Team ties will take 5th player score, then the

6th player score.

Water Hazards

All creeks and ditches are direct water hazards. Play these according to U.S.G.A. rules.

Yardage Markers

There are discs in the center of the fairways to indicate yardages. There are also yellow stakes on the right side of the fairways to indicate 150 yards as well. Sprinkler heads have yardages marked on them too.

General Reminders

Know the brand and number of your ball. Compare within your group so that two people are not using the same brand and number of ball. Labeling your ball with a sharpie would help identify it as well.

Unsportsmanlike behavior cannot be tolerated. These acts are punishable by disqualification.

Please mark your scorecards legibly. Circle an incorrect score, and then write in the correct score for the hole.

Questions of rules infractions should try to be resolved among your group first. If this is not possible, bring the situation to the attention of the Rules Committee. Play an alternate ball if at all in doubt as to the correct rule interpretation.

Bad weather? In case of lightning, leave the course immediately. If your ball is in the fairway, leave it. If your ball is on the green, mark it.
