MSD I

  • Mechanical Design Team Meetings: Monday 3pm
  • Electrical Design Team Meetings: Thursday 1:30pm
  • Project Team Work Time: Tuesday/Thursday 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
  • Team communication was done through GroupMe and Trello
  • All pre-edge work was uploaded to the Google Drive so all team members could have access
  • All Official Guide contact sent via email was forwarded to the entire team by the Project Manager
  • All Official Customer contact was sent via email with every team member and guide CCed
  • All conference calls and phase reviews were attended by the team, guide and the customer
  • Every conference call and phase review was to be documented and uploaded on the drive
  • Problem Resolution:
  • If team members disagreed on a project decision, a vote would be taken with majority as the deciding factor. If the vote did not prove a feasible outcome, the matter would be taken to the guide for the last say.
  • If a team member was slacking on their assigned tasks or produced subpar quality work, the Project Manager was to speak to them privately about their work. If there was no change, the entire team was to address the individual. Lastly, if there was still no change, the matter was to be presented to the guide.

MSD II

  • Standing team meetings attended by all group members and guide: Thursday 12:30pm
  • All team members must be available and working in and around the Brinkman Lab Tuesday/Thursday 12:30 pm – 2pm
