AGREEMENT FOR APPOINTMENTS OF GRAM ROZGAR SEVAK, MGNREGS CELL, IN THE …………………………………. GRAM PANCHAYAT UNDER KALIYAGANJ BLOCK, UTTAR DINAJPUR

This agreement made this from 4th September, 2011 between the Prodhan …………………………..Gram Panchayat, Uttar Dinajpur, in West Bengal on the one part, Sri…………………………………………………………………………………………………….. in the state West Bengal on the other part.

Whereas the Block Development Officer, Kaliyaganj Development Block has appointed Sri………………………………………. for ……………………………………. Panchayat a purely temporary and contractual basis service on the term end condition set forth below.

Whereas Sri…………………………………………. has agreed without any reservation to accept to same on such term and conditions.

  1. The Prodhan ……………………………… Gram Panchayat under Kaliyaganj Development Block shall engage Sri …………………………………………. Gram Rozgar Sevak, MGNREGS Cell in the ………………………………Gram Panchayat, Uttar Dinajpur District.
  2. He is appointed on and from 4th September, 2011 which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance. However for each such extension, fresh contract will have to be executed by him. This abundantly clear that this is not a sanction post of GP Level gram Rozgar Sevak in MGNREGS cell of this GP. Under Uttar Dinajpur district and payment for contract and service of Sri ………………………………….…….. will be made out of this scheme contingency allotments.
  1. He shall serve in such capacity and such discharged such duties as may from time to time be assigned to him by the Block Development Officer, Kaliyaganj, Uttar Dinajpur.
  1. He shall obey all lawful order and direction with MGNREGS works and devote his whole time and attentions to be best of his abilities in the discharge of his duties.
  1. He shall not engaged during his terms on any business, trade, profession or calling other than the duties assigned to him by the Block Development Officer, Kaliyaganj Development Block time to time.
  1. He shall not accept a loan from any person/persons without the prior written consent of the Block Development Officer provided always that nothing here in contained shall debt or from him obtaining loan of reasonable amount and of a temporary nature from any friend or relative, who do not have any business transaction with his office.
  1. In consideration of such loyal and faithful service, Gram Panchayat pay Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand) only per month.
  1. He shall not conduct private business during the period of contract at his place of posting.
  1. This agreement shall come into force from the day 4th September, 2011 .
  1. Notwithstanding anything contained herein this agreements may be terminated by the Block Dev. Officer, Kaliyaganj on giving to Sri …………………………………………….……………….. either one calendar month’s notice in writing or one months remuneration in lieu of notice. He may also resign from the service with the Block Dev. Officer Kaliyaganj on giving one calendar months notice in writing or in payments of the month’s remuneration in lieu of notice.
  2. He has to leave headquarter of the Prodhan, ……………………………………………..Gram Panchayat; violation may cause termination of contract without any reference.
  1. The Engagements of Sri …………………………………………under this agreement may however, be terminated forthwith without any notice of payments in lieu of notice at any time in the events of his conducting himself in any manner pre judicial to the interest of public more particularly in the following cases.

i)  Insobriety.

ii)  Unauthorised absence.

iii)  Persistent un-punctuality in attendance to Office and/or the place of duty assigned to him.

iv)  Gross carelessness and lack of attention to or neglect of work or duties.

v)  Disobedience of lawful orders given by the authority.

vi)  Breach of trust or breach of confidence with reference to official secrets.

vii)  Fraud or misappropriation or any other defalcation.

viii)  Breach of any of the Rules and Regulations.

ix)  Breach of any of the terms of this AGREEMENT.

x)  Any other misdemeanor not concentrates to the responsibilities assigned to him.

  1. After the period of contract is over, the renewal of contract for one more year may be allowed subject to satisfactory service rendered by the GRS, only if at least 15000 (Fifteen thousand) persondays have been created during the period of contract. Otherwise there will be no need for further engagements of any GRS and the contract will terminated automatically and without renewal.
