NSW-QLD

From tick free property: you require a waybill whilst travelling in QLD. Waybill - see below link. If you wish to print off a blank one you can make your own serial number up. Open the link, scroll down to waybills and click on the link "complete an online waybill."

From tick infected/restricted properties in NSW: You require a Queensland health certificate- Please see link below, this must be signed off on by a NSW DPI Officer.

For those who have a signed Qld health certificate (eg came from a restricted property in NSW) a waybill is not required as that acts as your waybill in QLD.

Whilst in QLD

Travel permit - You will require a travel permit to go through Cloncurry, these can be obtained from the Cloncurry office before you leave. Please fax a copy of your waybill/NT crossing papers to Bio Security Queensland on07 4742 1899 or contact their service centre on 13 25 23 so youn can be issued a travel permit. Alternatively you can call into the office on your way through.

Note: Some of the properties past Mount Isa have restrictions on them. If you are staying on a property between Mount Isa and the NT then check as to what, if any restriction are in place and what you need to do to pass through there.

Entering the NT

To travel livestock into the NT you will be required to fill out an NT health certificate and have it signed off on by a NSW inspector. Here is the link

Coming back from Darwin -

Darwin is tick infected so you will be required to be sprayed to come back (PA NSW will investigate this further) You will still require a travel permit to come back through Cloncurry, which once again can be obtained over fax machine or by calling into the office.

MOVEMENT OF HORSES - SOUTHERN ROUTE

There are currently no movement requirements or certification required for horses moving from interstate into South Australia.
