The Aim
The Aim of this Conferenceistodiscuss and evaluate processes of regional competitivenessdevelopment (theoretical approach).
Conference Sections:
Section 1– Increasing Regional Economic Competitivenessthrough Business and Science Cooperation.
Section2 – Challenges and Trends in Public Administration in the Context of RegionalCompetitiveness.
Section3– Management Science and itsAchievements in the Area of Regional Development.
Resolutions for Publishing
The articles will be reviewed and selected for publishing by the scientific reviewing committee.Selection of articles will be made on the basis of quality and relevance. Research in progress, full research papers including theoretical papers will be considered. Selected papers will be published free of charge in the refereed journal which is regularly indexed and abstracted by internationally recognized online databases. Publishing of selected articles is funded by European Social Fund. Number of publications is limited. Journal will be published and distributed at the conference.

The deadline for article submission and registration is September 15th. Authors should email the full article, completed registration form, signed and scanned version of author’s guarantee form t latter than on September 15th. Authors will be informed of the acceptance of their submitted articles. Registrations and articles received after this date WILL NOT be accepted.
The official language of the Conference is English.Oral reports during the Conference should not exceed 20 min.
Conference is one of the activities of the project „The Empowerment of Scientific Researchesfor the Development of Regional Competitiveness“(VP1-3.1-ŠMM-05-K-01-015) which is funded by European Social Fund. Participation for the registered participants is free of charge.Travel,accommodation,and meal costsfor the participants from abroad (presenters of submitted article at the conference) will be covered.Note: this applies to one of the authors (if there are more) per submitted article. Tickets will be arranged by conference organizers.
The number of places available at the conference is limited. Conference will take place in recreationally attractive place near Šiauliai (Lithuania).
Confirmation about the article submission and further information (Conference Programme, Conference Place, Venue, and Travel information) will be sent to the registered participants.
