NDTV and DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance have launched a campaign, Behtar India, to work towards a better future for India. The core thought of the campaign is to mobilise students, ordinary citizens and corporates to join a nationwide movement that focuses on three main pillars of the campaign – Health, Hygiene, and Environment.

The first stage of the campaign is related to BehtarSwasthya (Health) which aims to create awareness about the cause, prevention and mechanism to fight mosquito borne diseases.

As a part of this program, we are raising funds to eradicate diseases caused by mosquitoes and protect underprivileged children against Dengue.

In order to imbibe the quality of community service and reaching out to the underprivileged children we propose to conduct an art exhibition ‘Kalakshetra.’The students and art teachers would be showcasing their works of art and craft done during the first term in the Atrium of the Main Block. The teen chef club students would also be displaying their culinary skills by opening a few food counters. You are requested to make a contribution of Rs. 100/-or more by buying art and craft items/from food counterswhich would help the underprivileged children to get Dengue protection cover. This includes treatment, distribution of mosquito repellents and dengue prevention workshops.

Each student making a contribution towards this noble cause would be honoured with a certificate. The entire amount collected would be deposited in the HDFC Bank, New Delhi and the beneficiary would be ‘The Charities Foundation India’, New Delhi.

Let’s join the movement and contributetowards this noble cause.
