RETURNING RESIDENT ASSISTANT HIRING PROCESS 2017-2018

TIMELINE INFORMATION:

  • RAD applications will be live on the student employment website from Wednesday February 1st through Friday February 10th 2017(applications will close before 5pm)
  • Returning RA Interviews will take place the week of Monday-Friday February 13th-17th 2017
  • RA candidates will receive hire/no hire notification by Friday March 10th 2017
  • All 2017-2018 staff will attend the 2017-2018 all-staff kick-off event Wednesday April 5thfrom 9-10pm

All Resident Assistants re-applicants will be required to present a portfolio during their scheduled individual interview. The format of the portfolio is at the discretion of the applicant and could include print (folder, binder, posterboard), electronic (website, blog, prezi, powerpoint), etc. The thirty minute interview will consist of a portfolio presentation by the candidate, follow up questions by the professional staff, and then time for the candidate to ask questions.
