Center for Character Ethics is proud to announce the call for entries for our 2017 Student of Integrity Scholarships. Thisyear we are givingEIGHTscholarships to graduating high school seniors which range from $1000-$3500. This includes TWO CTAE-specific scholarships for those students who want to choose a technical path. Scholarship checks will be dispersed to winners, who will then determine how funds are to be spent.

Students must attend an accredited high school in one of the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Bartow, Carroll, Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Elbert, Fayette, Forsyth, Franklin, Fulton, Gwinnett, Habersham, Hall, Haralson, Hart, Henry, Jackson, Lumpkin, Madison, Morgan, Newton, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Paulding, Pickens, Pike, Polk, Rabun, Rockdale, Spalding, Stephens, Towns, Union, Walton and White Counties.

We are currently accepting entries for our Student of Integrity Scholarship program. The deadline for entries will be February 5th, 2017.

2017 Student of Integrity Scholarship: Topic & Instructions

1. Students must write an essay, noT to exceed 2 pages, Double-spaced, based on the following topic:Describe the most important ethical challenges faced by today’s marketplace and the strategies you believe should be implemented to overcome them.

Essays may be written in any form desired. Judging will be based on how well the essence of the topic is captured and the creativity in responding.

The following must also be submittedwith essay:

2. A copy of the student’s transcript.

3. A one-page letter that explains the leadership skills and community activities or service of applicant. ***Please note, this should not be a resume or a letter of recommendation. This should be a letter written by the student expressing their thoughts on what it means to be a leader and how it feels giving back to their community.

Students please note the following instructions for submitting your entry:

Your submission MUST includethree copies of each of the following:

1. The entry form

2.Your one-page letter leadership skills and community activities or service

3.Your transcript (If your transcript is sealed, please unseal and make copies.)

4.Your essay

Place each entry in a pocket folder. A pocket folder is one in which there is a pocket on each side. We will not accept file folders, folders with prongs or manila envelopes. Place all three pocket folders in a large envelope.
